Senior Account Manager (expression of interest)
Join our growing iNHouse team as a Senior Account Manager to create and deliver innovative integrated campaigns
As a Senior Account Manager (SAM) at iNHouse you will be central to the day-to-day delivery of client activity and the central point of contact for project management for clients and teams. Working across a portfolio of clients, you'll be able to both grip the now and think about the next, managing client programmes with a 6+ month view.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Leading the day-to-day management of a portfolio of accounts (4-6), liaising with the senior team appropriately, ensuring excellent client management and smooth running of campaigns.
- Anticipating clients needs and potential issues and bringing a solution-oriented approach to your work, alerting senior team members appropriately.
- Setting the standard for quality on the account, reviewing the work of junior team members and coaching them to produce excellent client-ready work first time.
- Building strong, trusted relationships with clients and increasingly deputising for Account Directors when necessary.
- Reviewing and planning budgets alongside the Account Director, having effective budget conversations with clients to help manage activity within the scope of work.
This is the job for you if:
- You have proven project management skills and use these to lead delivery with at least a quarterly view ahead.
- You enjoy variety and pace, and are adept at juggling competing priorities to tight timescales.
- You are focused on outcomes not just outputs and ensure timelines and teams are managed with this focus.
- You have proven ability to manage motivated and engaged junior team member
- You have a strong understanding and interest in politics and policy development across Government departments, the Opposition and relevant UK political institutions and has a network of contacts to draw on.
- You enjoy devising creative campaigns to achieve client goals
- You're a team player who lifts up their colleagues (and can expect the same in return).
We're particularly looking for:
- Solid agency experience, or experience within another client service environment.
- Sector experience in energy, tech or FMCG.
